I'm hoping in a way that this election will be more about who governs Britain and those your life getting better or getting worse. I agree with Sunda that when you know people are really struggling to pay their mortgage or get to a food shop then if the papers are just for the people talking about penises then I think that sort of begins to look slightly deranged actually. We share a language we share the internet and we know a lot about what's happening in America and American society and British society are very different but there are still influences and crossover.
