Nick rowing with us a his piece at the wall street journal. Nuns on the civil war battle field. They were mostly working in hospitals om and it was their job to to act as nurses when there weren't enough rsse sor to be or to be therefor for moral support or comfort for the dying men. So they would sit in and pray with people who were dying. That's the big part of the book, that the nuns were equal opportunity care givers.
