The Struggle to Get Your Copyright Back
There were deals made on our behalf in the 70s and into the 80s that parlaid our our copyrights into cash. And it felt good when we had a lot of cash, but when the cash was gone, so were the copyrights. So it took many, many years and I it I had to work very hard with some very good friends at the label at BMG to try to get the copyright some of the publishing back. But yes, we did eventually get it back. There's people out there that are just going to have to be on the road till they're 90."
