I think there is a claim, which is that there is something specific about the nature of class conflict. I don't think there's anything in the communist manifesto or the kind of rigorous and interesting elements of the Marxist tradition that denies that conflict on some level is part of any kind of complicated social life. And at the very basic level, those people who have a fundamental skepticism can ever get rid of class society are just as likely to be realistic than others.
