Are you ready for Christ’s return? The Thessalonians were known for their “irresistible readiness” as they anticipated the Day of the Lord. The “Day of the Lord” is a term that refers to all of the events related to Christ’s second coming.
The “Day of the Lord” begins when Jesus returns for His bride – the Church! (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
As the bride of Christ, we should be ready for the return of Christ!

Live in the light of God’s Word instead of the darkness of our world.
WE ARE TO BE READY…
SPIRITUALLY—Ephesians 5:14-18 says, “Therefore He says: ‘Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.’”
PRACTICALLY—Proverbs 20:4 says, “The lazy man will not plow because of winter; he will beg during harvest and have nothing.”
IN COMMUNITY—Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
