The Truth in Political Advertising Is Long Overdue

The truth in political advertising is long overdue, something the Greens have pushed for for many a year and we look forward to that being addressed as part of a comprehensive package. We'd love to see 16 and 17 year olds be able to vote and not to damage the compulsory nature of that but perhaps the fine can be waived if they choose not to vote at that early age. The idea about expanding parliament has also been raised by David POCOC this week. I reckon if you just talk about your own policies then you're not going to get into hot water... But whether or not a negative campaigning helps the public discourse is another kettle of fish.
