The Future of Coding Practice Matters
Git and GitHub have some features that kind of feel like they're intended to support this. You can reference an issue from a commit message and get a bidirectional link going there. Same with pull requests. I should say when you're doing a commit as part of a pull request or just a regular old commit, you have like bisect in Git. And so one of the things I'd love to see along these lines of the why is actually people like writing, like the histories of code bases.
