There's a disconnect between what we see in the media and who is actually rich. Many of the wealthiest people, in fact, are living fairly modest lives. If you ask them how much they made, they're actually likely to tell you they make less than they actually do. The group of people in our culture that have the most money fight with their spouse the least.
Money worries are one of the biggest sources of anxiety in the lives of Americans. This week, we kick off our new "Money 2.0" series with psychologist Brad Klontz. He says that while external economic forces often shape our financial well-being, our unconscious beliefs about money also contribute to how well we manage our money.
