The Axeman of New Orleans

Most of the plot was written for the show creators nearly 100 years ago in terms of what they covered on the program. The Axeman story actually has a few different potential starting points. Because the case was never solved, there is uncertainty about some similar crimes that may or may not have been related to the Axeman murders. And also just as a side note going into this, you will see it spelled both ways in perfectly valid historical accounts.
