The Monroe Doctrine and the Trump Administration
John Quincy Adams was the secretary of state under James Monroe. He is considered some kind of anti-war or anti-imperialist figure in history. There's now sort of an anti-war think tank called the Quincy Institute named after him. John Quincy Adams had already said stuff that sounded very Masonic slash imperialist and sort of messianic about the United States.
