Sindy borton was found dead at her home in shenandoah, California. A note left by an arsenist warned police that the school fire and the truck fire were nothing compared to what was coming next. The night stalker lead came to an abrupt end a few weeks later when finger print analysis not only failed to match richard borton's finger prints, it didn't match any prints on file in any local, state or federal law enforcement data base. It wasn't until five months after sindyborton's murder, that and state investigators would get the tip they needed to break the murder and arson cases wide open.
