John O'Neill's Death on September 11th
Saudido Niel was last seen alive in the stairwell of the 48th floor of the South Tower, helping to evacuate people from the burning building. O'Neal left the FBI even though he still believed that the next big Al Qaeda attack was coming. He took a high-paying job not far from the FBI's New York field office. In August 2001, he became the Chief of Security at the nearby World Trade Center.
