Is the NHS a Political Football?
I think there is a frustration perhaps among some of the clinicians that the NHS is always a political football. We're not sending out that ambition in this statement because the impact to the pandemic has been so severe. We need to set an ambition which is a target that is ambitious but achievable and that is what we have done. What did staff at Addenbrooks feel about that because I think for a lot of people hearing it it's quite alarming. The noise, does hear. This creates a sense of crisis doesn't it? The bleeping.
