IATA covers the landmass surrounding the Horn of Africa and extends out into the Indian Ocean. It links the African subcontinent south of Ethiopia with the Middle East and Indian subcontinent. IATA does say that the reclassification of the airspace and the operational resumption of air traffic control has been made possible in Mogadishu.
