Animal Cruelty Is Bad, but Do We Care About Animals?
Soh: You can kind of already tell we care for animals, because anybody who sees like a dog in the street getting kicked by a person just kind of intuitively thinks, that's awful. I think most of us wouldn't want to live in a world where we repealed all the animal cruelty laws that currently exist. Soh: The next question becomes, well, how much should we care about them? Do we care about animals as much as humans, or are there more? Are there some animals that we care about more than others? Yes, those are some great philosophical questions, and i'm not sure we need to pin down our exact moral weights for each species"
