Facebook has been giving massive amounts of shares to employees and management. The company's net income is almost in luck step with the share price. As profits go down, shareholders sell pretty straightforward. But the only line that hasn't gone down is employee hiring. Facebook did buy back shares. And I don't know how many, how much they spent on it but it was a lot.
