In Elgoyan is retired from the stage at 20. She's now, I suppose, spending time at the royal court. On one hand, it's a place of partying and licentiousness because King Charles II is a party animal. And on the other hand, it’s a place of power and privilege and posh people trying to get ahead and very sharp elbows. How does she fit into this slightly strange world? Gwyn survived and thrived at court because she both embraced her lowly birth and didn't let anyone shame her for it.
