Harry Truman Is a Nobody

In 19 forty four, the president for life is chosen by his opponent as a successor. And so who replaces him? A nobody. It's this very farionic gesture where you say, ok, i'm the king of the world, and who's going to replace me? Nobody. So after me, after me, nobody. In some ways, that was kind of the nd of real to party politics in the us. If you were looking at any third world country and you basically saw that happen, where, you know, the President for life choses is opponent. What you see is what creates this administrative state, this deep state that we have today.
