The Relationship Between Typology and Prophecy
The baptism of John is a once for all unique and unrepeatable event that testifies to this great transition. Vos says, where do you go for some analogies? He said, first you can look at typology. And Camden, could you read that I think the two texts that Vos brings out are Exodus at 1910 and 11 and Exodus 19, 4. This is the key between Old Testament events and the baptism of John are just that analogies.
