If it's a high stakes really important thing that you need to pitch in for, it may not be the best thing to say no to. You can always say, I'm really sorry. These are words that communicate that you are speaking from a place of power. So they are empowered language. They also reflect your stance on the matter. And do you recommend articulating that in a special way? "I often talk about saying things in terms of using very absolute words"
