The Jets and the Seniors in Liverpool
Tony Sheridan was one of the most impressive musicians in Britain. Larry Parns had booked them for a tour, but then got annoyed at the unprofessionalism of the Liverpool bands he was booking. The Jets hadn't liked playing at Williams's club, and they'd scarpered to another one with better working conditions. They helped get off the ground and renamed the Top 10, after Vince Taylor's club in London. Derry and the Seniors were doing great business - so Alan Williams decided to convert another of his clubs to be a rock and roll club.
