There's a reason why your latest panic attack is always the scariest one. The brain does its job, it has to fill you with doubt. You can't experience a panic attack rationally because it shuts down that part of your brain and ends up the threat response via amygdala. So when Drew said before, like, well, it latches on to something, that's exactly right. It's trying to help you by understanding the mechanics of when you have a panic attack in inverted commas. And that was massive for my recovery.
