Santo Domingo - The First Base of Spanish Colonization
In 16 55, the cromwell government despatched a expeditionary force to carry out a so called western design. And their target was hispaniola, that very largerly, the second largest island in the caribbian,. The site of santo domingo, the sort of original first base of spanish colonization. So that was the goal. But there were hurricanes that disrupted that plan. It was not, it did not look easy to capture.
