The Divine Grace Is Not Dependent on Us

If Mary had not said yes, then creation somehow hanging in the balance on the one hand. This is an absence she because she is saying yes to she is bringing about God. She is herself a Sophianic figure, a figure of linkage between God and creation at that moment. And so that this monistic idea is that we are really our God's children. We really do participate in God's good world, but that God is not dependent upon us for its success.
