The Nobel Prize for Applied Research
When i was in graduate school, it wasn't widely known the way to think about applied research. So when i came out, i feel like students coming up nowadays have had it a lot easier. The whole s of what are we trying to do? is just a lot clearer now. And so hopefully that makes econometrics less intimidating.
