Adam Butler: I want to touch on your critique of corporate media and the democratic party. He says both routinely deploy and exploit deeply reductionist framing of black people, blackness itself. What is currently at risk in our national politicsYeah so i think what it comes down to is like when we are not able to tell our own stories pleat our own cause then our liberation is left in someone else's hands many of whom do not have our interest at heart. We can't achieve the goal of equity none of us without those independent structures and power.
