The Effects of Stimulants on ADHD
Three drugs which do a similar thing by stimulating the body. These are methylphenidate, Adderall and LIS DEX. They alter the way in which the chemicals in the brain that are often deficient in terms of their action in ADHD work. This leads to in most people a reduction in the core traits of ADHD. atomoxetin is more like an anti-depressant so this is a drug that doesn't act as a stimulant in the body but similarly to the other drugs we've talked about it changes the levels of these chemicals in theBrain.
