The Importance of Memetic Pursuit
How would you know that you're caught up in a memetic pursuit and it's a completely mindless thing? Like what are the big markers where you go, look, listen. When you see this in yourself and other people are saying these things to you, you might want to stop and sort of withdraw a little bit and think. Obviously a wild fluctuation of desires is a clear marker there. Love would say that if you have wild swings, right, feeling that you're on top of the world and then worth nothing, that might mean that you're motivated by something metaphysical.
