Eric Schmidt's Influence on the Defense Department
Eric Schmidt was instrumental in placing the US Defense Department's new chief digital and AI officer who a position filled by Craig Martell, former head of machine learning at lift. He also has his own philanthropic foundation called Schmidt futures which as Moore's off rights on closer examination turns out to be a for profit company. In this case, the nonprofit that receives money from Schmidt futures, but not only them, is the Federation of American scientists,. Conveniently, its current chairman is the same Gilman Louie of Tetris fame. They're best friends. And those five guys just keep rotating between all of the positions of geopolitical power.
