The FDA's VRBPAC Meeting on COVID-19 Vaccines
The FDA's VRBPAC will be meeting today to discuss the makeup of the COVID-19 vaccines for the 2023-2024 vaccination campaign. WHO advisors a few weeks ago recommended that vaccine makers switch to a monovalent vaccine that contains an XBB lineage. So we'll have to wait and see when these boosters will be approved and available. Hopefully it will be well before the early winter months.
