History kind of did forget her. As recently as the 19 thirties, she was thought not to have written that book at all. She was tried and convicted for conspiracy because john wilts booths stored some of his stuff in her barn. Ah, but now her house is this museum that's dedicated to the civil war,. Its focus is on the lincoln assassination. And they did help to raise the money for lizzie's headsto. So i think that's a great end to that story.
