The Motives for the Abduction of Tabitha

It seems clear no matter who the suspect is that it was a premeditated crime by a violent offender. But I think we should also discuss victimization here, not just the offender motivation. Black women are disproportionately likely to be victims of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and homicide. A lot of the vulnerability as we teach in our classes also comes from the economic and social marginalization that not only black women face, but black men face.
