This is really why I love distressed tolerance skills. It's because like so often our advice here on the podcast is access wise mind, but with wise mind say and sometimes you're just like, I don't know what wise mind would say. And they can kind of help you get into a better mindset so that you can think about what other skills might be useful later on once you're a little bit more regulated. So acting on that highly intense emotion urge is going to make the situation worse. Mm hmm. Absolutely.
