The Darkness of Kiv
In front of St. Michael's Church is an area where the Ukrainians put captured Russian armour. I'm not a single one of the Russian armoured vehicles, tanks, missile systems, has any lights on it. These things are dark. They absorb light so that it reflects it, sort of rusting and dark. It was quite something. And if you do come to Kiv, it's rather easy to get to in the day because some people are walking around looking very grave. But at night it's a completely different experience. It's very silent.
