The Disadvantages of Dual Citizens in Australia
It's one of the ways in which those of us who may or may not be dual citizens are differentiated from Australia to a not to a citizen. Yes, dual citizens are liable to have their citizenship stripped. And they are not protected by the convention against stateless. They're more vulnerable. So there are pockets of our law and our public law where dual citizens are regarded as different sorts of citizens than Australians who are solely Australian citizens.
