The Power of Choice
Many have taken the field against the soul under the leadership of various ideals. I've been faced now and then with that confrontative moment that moment of choice. For Arjuna what will be the worth of victory if those for whose sake we desire kingdom, enjoyments and pleasures must first lie dead on the field. Better to enjoy simple enjoyments than set out on a perilous path. A path to an as yet quite inconceivable goal is that it leads over the dead bodies of all that we hold dear in life. We all do it - everybody wants security don't they? Everybody wants an IRA. Don't you want health insurance? I want health insurance. What are you talking about
