What a Wasteland Social Media Has Been

Twitter is a wasteland, and neither is Facebook, although Facebook kind of expanded to everybody. I don't know if it has the same bot problem that Twitter does, but it's just not gonna happen folks. And this opens the question, are there any truly decentralized players that will take the reign? None have become particularly popular yet.
