Tom Cruise by a million. The movie doesn't make sense without Tom Cruise. What about few good men? I could see that being a split decision, but Tom Cruise is. Hanks has had a better career though. He's a more accomplished actor than Tom Cruise. They've both had weird 21st centuries and they're in the same kind of swimming pool.
