The Supreme Court's Consideration of Independent State Legislators

The organization is moving away from judicial restraint and embracing a sort of more assertive role. The idea of the independent state legislature theory came up on an election law panel. There's a bit of tension within that movement because some judges who have flirted with that idea do have ties with the federal society.
