What's the Range of Peep for a RDS Patient?
Morgan: What's the range of peep that you generally set for a patient with a r d s? Morgan: It very much depends on the patient's body habits and also what goes on with their hemo dynamics. I would start low for patients who have hemo dynamic problems, and i would start high for patients who are morbidly obese or maybe have abdominal compartment sindrom. The second p is proning. This literally just means taking the patient and flipping them from their back and on to their belly.
