Fire and Re Hiring

The rules are that you can make somebody redundant because their post no longer exists, but actuallythat it's very strict about what you can do to recreate that post. So fire and re hire is essentially a potentially fair way of changing some of thes terms and conditions. If they don't accept that, then the option available to an employer is to fire them on those old terms and essentially re hire them u be essentially exactly the same terms theyreon, save for, in that particular example, their hours of work. Now, in that sconario, the employees would have the right to bring an unfair dismissal claim. And you'd ofvieusly have to demonstrate a lawful reason
