I see no justification on the surface for thinking that if you were born into a wealthy family, your public schools could be better. I feel like this definitely fails a John Rawlsian test. education is not a right. It's not in the Bill of Rights. And that's something we almost forget because it's a, it feels like a shibboleth or something like that. But I, equalizing funding for K through 12 education, I think would be such a rational first step to reform.
