How to Create an Active Learning Classroom Environment for Students

I think one of the most important things is there is no greater feeling as a student than to figure something out on your own. I've also tried to encourage faculty to really hold true to creating an active learning classroom environment. That's what motivates them. You want to get a kid excited, you give them a problem and you let them struggle and suddenly he or she figures it out on their own. And that was genuine joy in learners.
