The Importance of Consistent Sleep-Wake Time

Sleep scientist Gina Poe says 30 minutes of variability on either end is suboptimal. "Once we get outside that 30-minute block, I mean, we see that in our data too," she says. Once you have a consistent sleep-wake time, your mood and perceived stress are reduced. You can wake up with a 15-minute range or an hour left or right to produce X effect.
