Ragnar's Death and the Brothers' Revenge

This chapter tells the story of Ragnar Lothbrok's death at the hands of King Alah and the subsequent reactions of his sons. Ragnar is thrown into a pit of snakes without his magical shirt and speaks his final words before succumbing to the snake bites. The messengers find the brothers in Denmark and deliver the news, eliciting shock and anger from Bjorn, Vitsurk, and Sigurd.
