The Concept of Emptiness in Buddhism

The idea of emptiness is not univocal, but I'm going to take a kind of a particular track through the Buddhist conceptual landscape there. The first thing that we need to always do is to identify what the Dr. Benton philosopher Tsongkapa called the objective negation. That's why, for instance, in our investigation of the self, we begin by identifying what we mean by a self. In the Yogachara, the mind only, the phenomenological tradition of Buddhism, the emptiness that we're talking about is emptiness of subject object duality.
