The Problems With Chemicals in Children's Clothing

In the United States, the only federal regulations for what chemicals can be put on clothing are for children's brands. The product safety commission is more likely to recall children's clothing that doesn't conform to a flammability standard than something that is causing skin burns. A test by Dr. Graham Peasley and Maryam Diamond of children's or kids' school uniforms found cadmium as well at an alarming level.
