The US-Israel Relationship on a Political Front
The tension between the US and Israel over judicial reform has been not easy to navigate. But I should also note that the way in which the United States has botched the Middle East, how we've really just coughed up a victory with the Saudis. We had them on the five-yard line in terms of normalization with Israel and now look where we are. There is bungling here and bad policy, but there isn't the kind of ugly animus that motivated the Obama administration.
