How Long Do You Work on a Single Piece?

How long do you work on a single piece? Like, I'm sure it varies so much. But from the very like literal root of the work, working with trees, we have to wait about 18 ish sometimes a little bit more months for the trees to even mature. And then from there on out, depending on the size of the piece that I'm making, maybe like a week or two at minimum to like a couple months of painting.
