A lot of my students complain that it's cold in their room. But the windows they have in their houses are often very, very old windows from the Victorian period. These old wooden windows don't really insulate your room. So if you're buying a house here in London and it's got those old wooden windows, then you, you know, it makes it much nicer. In fact, a house with old wooden windows will be more expensive than a house with more modern windows. They're still valuable because of the tradition and the fact that they're kind of antique.
